Erimha – “Reign Through Immortality” 2013

 Erimha – “Reign Through Immortality”
LABEL: Victory Records
Melodic Black/Death Metal
RATING: 7.0 / 10

Do You like Dimmu Borgir anno “Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia”?
Well, I do. And my guess would be that if I asked Erimha the same question, the answer would perhaps be something along the lines of: “Hell yeah!! We live, breath and play Dimmu Borgir. That’s what it is all aboot, eh!”

Not sure what to think about physical apperance!?

Ok, enough of the stereotyping. But, truth be told “Reign Through Immortality” sound so much Dimmu it could’ve easily fooled me for being left-over Dimmu tracks from the “Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia/Death Cult Armageddon”-era (down to the production). The one thing that is a giveaway though is the vocals, that despite being good, aren’t really up to Shagrath-standard.

All haters of “Symphonic Black Metal” will hate on Erimha! But if you are a fan of the stuff and don’t mind the lack of originality, you’ll simply love this album! Sorry for keeping this review quite short and shallow, but there isn’t really that much that can be said about this album other than what I just said. Why don’t you just take a look at the YouTube-clip below and judge for yourself:
