Cripple Bastards is back. This grind machine has been around since 1988, and they truly deserve the title of Hardcore and grind legends. Sadly they have been overlooked, and did never get the recognition they truly deserve. Their latest offering “Nero In Metastasi” ,(Metastasis In Black), shows a band that after more than 20 years still sounds really angry, and hungry!

I have no idea what they are singing about as the lyrics are in Italian, but it sounds like they are pissed off, and wants the world to know it. The music is as always a mix of Brutal Truth‘s less spazzed out moments, and Napalm Death. The vocals venture more towards old school hardcore than metal grunts. And it fits the music perfect, and makes it sound so much angrier. If you like your grindcore fast, angry and with a touch of hardcore, you will love the new Cripple Bastards album. And while you’re at it, get all their albums. You will not regret it.

Recommended tracks: “Fumo Passivo” and “Regime Artificiale”
